AKUARO: Leading the Networking Area of the IT Sector

Today’s episode is with 2 of Akuaro’s founders: Claudio Henriquez and Ekei Salgueiro. Founded in Barcelona, Spain in October 2014, Akuaro was born as a networking agency that created a new methodology where the selection consultant becomes a business consultant for professionals in the Information Technology sector. Mediating between companies and projects, and seeking synergies between the aspirations of both. Ekei Salgueiro, Raimon Luques and Claudio Henríquez M. met 4 years ago while working in a recruitment agency in the area of IT.

They quickly realized the problems of the sector & sometimes breaking the rules or going against what business indicators tell you produces bigger results. We gave more importance to people than to numbers. In this sector there is a lot of demand, but also a lack of understanding as to what professionals really want. These gaps led them to create Akuaro, a networking agency that to date has gained the loyalty of more than 100 thousand professionals. Currently, it has commercial operations in several countries including Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and England.
