Today’s episode is with the Marketing Director of Give Lively, Brooke Currence. Brooke’s decision to join Give Lively as Marketing Director was fueled by a desire to bring best in class marketing knowledge from Fortune 500 experience and put it to use for the nonprofits she is passionate about. Through her love for travel and interest in societal structures, Brooke became increasingly aware and passionate about changing socioeconomic and gender barriers to equal opportunities and achievement. Brooke made a move to New York City in 2015 from Georgia where she lived for 10 years building her marketing career at reputable Fortune 500 IT Firms. Her passions are women and girl’s empowerment, human rights, learning new cultures, meeting new people, and staying active.
We discuss the ways that they are building easy-to-use apps, sites, and services that make giving a more regular and rewarding part of everyday life.
