Nicholla has been an expat all her life.  She was, (what we are often referred to as)’ ‘a third culture child’ and now a third culture adult.  She knows what it’s like to be an expat and has helped and shared lots of tips and guidance to expats that are planning to be expats or have joined their host city.  Her keen interest in business start-up, social media, business support and podcast has been brought together under ‘The Learning curve podcast’ so she can connect with and share the stories of expat entrepreneurs around the globe.  We are an eclectic bunch of people with a sense of adventure yet a strong ambition to have our businesses and follow through with our entrepreneurial bug.

Nicholla started her podcast career in radio back in 2011.  She hosted a radio show in Muscat, Oman on Merge 104.8 called ‘Mums on Monday’ which was a weekly morning show covering mother and child related topics for Muscat.  Nicholla left the show in the summer 2013 because she was moving back to the United Arab Emirates with her husband’s job.

We talk about the what it’s like in the Middle East and North African region. Check out the episode here or below.
